STAMPED "W.H. FARRAR / GEDDES, N.Y.", NEW YORK DECORATED STONEWARE JAR, salt-glazed, designated four-gallon capacity, wide-mouth form with flat-top rounded rim, beaded neck ring, and applied arched handles, Albany-slip glazed interior. Slip-trailed cobalt three-bloom floral design, additional brushed cobalt to stamp. William H. Farrar, Geddes-Syracuse, NY. Mid 19th century. 12 1/4" H, 12 1/2" D rim.
Condition
Mostly undamaged, having an approximately 3" L hairline extending from base with some light staining.
