SYRACUSE, NEW YORK COIN SILVER SPOONS, SET OF NINE, each having a pointed oval bowl on a forward-tipped fiddle handle with pointed shoulders and engraved "M.B." initials, comprising three tablespoons and six teaspoons. Each with "H & S" maker's mark for Hotchkiss & Schreuder of Syracuse, NY (active 1857-1895) and a retailer's mark for Richard Mockford of Medina and Trumansburg, NY (active c. 1869-c. 1896). Total weight: 8.995 ozt. Second half 19th century. 6" and 8 3/4" LOA.
Very good to excellent overall condition with minor wear, surface scratches, and nicks; three teaspoons each with slight bending to edge of bowl near tip.
