Unframed. Second quarter 20th century. Largest 22 1/2" x 14 1/2" object.
Catalogue Note: Born in Washington, DC, Thomas Speiden Culverwell (1901-1977) worked for many decades as a topographer and illustrator for the U.S. Forest Service. He also served with the Office of Strategic Services during World War II. The present illustration, an early example of Culverwell's work, demonstrates the artist's skill.

Condition

Each in good overall condition with minor to moderate discoloration and edge wear. One example with heavier toning, scattered tears and losses.
