TIDEWATER VIRGINIA CHIPPENDALE CHERRY CHEST OF DRAWERS WITH BEVERLY FAMILY ASSOCIATION, rectangular top with applied edge molding above four graduated thumb-molded drawers, flanked by solid ends, the whole raised on an applied cut-out bracket-foot base. Yellow pine and poplar secondary wood. Retains an old surface with warm color. Late 18th/early 19th century. 34 1/2" H, 37 1/2" W, 20" D.

Good overall visual condition. Proper right rear foot restored with minor repairs to case. Scattered pieced repairs to drawer facings. Period brasses (probably replaced) in original drillings.
