Catalogue Note: Tomi Ungerer was a French-born illustrator and cartoonist based out of New York City. He worked extensively with Harper Publishing illustrating his own books and those by other writers. His most notable books include The Three Robbers (1961), Flat Stanley (1964), and Moon Man (1966).
We could only locate one other example of this poster which is in the Canada Modern Archive from the collection of Rolf Harder.
