UNMARKED CIVIL WAR, POSSIBLY CONFEDERATE MADE, REMINGTON-STYLE MODEL 1858 / 1861 REVOLVER, casting seams visible on frame and brass trigger guard, octagonal barrel with fine, consistent file marks visible on all sides, serial #845 on one side of backstrap at butt and "8" visible on rear underside of barrel, no other markings. 8" barrel, 13 1/2" LOA.
Relic condition, cylinder frozen, grips and main spring missing, etc. Loading lever retains some bluing, rest probably lightly cleaned.
