VICTORIAN DECORATED COALPORT CHINA CO. COLUMBIAN EXPOSITION KEROSENE BANQUET STAND LAMP, four-part construction, white ground with creamy yellow and gilt decorated raised scrolls and medallions patterned vase holder, jeweled-style raised decoration and cabochons of semi-precious jasper, vase holder supported by matching decorated baluster-form base, tri-form foot with curled acanthus leaves, underside of foot marked with maker's mark and "BANQUET LAMP 208306 RD / CHICAGO EXPOSITION ", interior of vase with porcelain font holder lining, matching decorated ceramic drop-in font and shoulder cover, underside with maker's mark, No. 3 brass collar. Fitted with a period setup comprising a Plume & Atwood duplex burner, colorless with frosted finish ball-form shade with acid-etched stylized floral pattern, and a colorless slip chimney. Circa 1893. 32 3/4" H to top of shade, 23 1/2" H to top of collar, 10 1/4" DOA foot. Shade 8 1/2" H, 4 1/8" D fitter.
