VICTORIAN GLASS AND CERAMIC FAIRY LAMP, cranberry Drape-Optic fairy-size shade, fitted into a square ceramic base with a floriform lamp cup which is signed to the interior, "S. CLARKE'S/PATENT/TRADE MARK/FAIRY", signed to the underside, "DOULTON/BURSLEM". Fourth quarter 19th century. 6" HOA, 7 1/4" SQ base.

Nearly undamaged with the base having one lamp cup petal being tipped, base having overall crazing. Shade having expected light roughness to the top rim and having four cut vents to the fitter, all as made.
