VICTORIAN GLASS AND METAL KEROSENE HANGING / LIBRARY LAMP, opaque blue umbrella shade, stamped ornamented and twisted support arms with lower scrolling finial holding a stamped metal hanging font, matching stamped brass shade ring, leveler, ceiling mount with motor, and shade crown, plain brass smoke bell. Fitted with a period burner with period flame spreader stating "FOSTORIA". Fitted with cut glass prisms. Late 19th/early 20th century. Shade: 6 1/2" H, 13 7/8" D fitter.
Condition
Shade undamaged; font tank and some other articles having moderate to heavy overall wear; some metal articles having some denting and/or bending; prisms having imperfections such as flaking/chipping.
