VICTORIAN IRIS ENAMEL-DECORATED KEROSENE GONE WITH THE WIND / PARLOR LAMP, decorated opal with polychrome-enamel decoration, matching ball shade with shaded red and pink ground and Iris decoration, thistle-form font vase with fancy cast-brass double-handled spill ring, cast-metal Fleur-de-lis base with a copper finish. Fitted with a brass drop-in font, period burner, and colorless slip chimney. Electrified. Maker unverified. Early 20th century. 21 3/4" H to top of shade, 12 3/4" H to top of shade ring, 5 1/2" SQ base. Shade: 9 3/4" H, 4" D fitter.
Excellent condition overall with the font tank having many vertical splits; shade having some flaking and a chip to the fitter; some light wear; some minor imperfections due to the electrification process, crack to the chimney running from the fitter.
