VICTORIAN MAN WITH GUITAR FIGURAL STEM KEROSENE STAND LAMP, frosted colorless font with engraved panels, raised on a figural stem featuring a man leaning against a tree playing the guitar, with a later bronze finish, slate square base, period brass collar with a shoulder plate. Fitted with a period slip burner. Topped with a pressed and ruby-stained gas shade with floral pattern. Maker unverified. Fourth quarter 19th century. 16" H to top of shade, 11 3/4" H to top of collar, 5" SQ base. Shade: 3 3/4" H, 3 7/8" D fitter.
Excellent condition overall with some flaking to the top of the slate; font having interior residue.
