VICTORIAN MOSAIC MEDALLIONS KEROSENE HANGING / LIBRARY LAMP, decorated opal shade with green mosaic with Classical medallions decoration, stamped brass font cup holding a pressed colorless glass font with diamond motif, stamped brass lower finial with figural Stork pattern, stamped brass supporting arms, shade ring, ceiling mount with motor, shade crown, and brass smoke bell. Fitted with a period slip burner, colorless prisms. Late 19th/early 20th century. Shade: 6" H, 13 7/8" D fitter.
Condition
Glass font having a crack running across the base and interior residue; shade undamaged; metal areas in excellent condition with some having some places of denting or bending; some scattered wear; prisms having imperfections including flaking and chipping.
