VICTORIAN TWO-PIECE SILK DRESS,
each piece made from solid and brocade brown silk fabric, bodice having tapered waist, interior boning, and lace around the collar, skirt featuring layered front.
Fourth quarter 19th century.
Bodice: 38" bust, 32" waist. Skirt 30" waist, 42" L.
Provenance: Property from a Youngstown, OH estate.
Good overall condition with wear and other imperfections including light discoloration/fading, stains, tears, and mends, bodice and skirt altered with added fabric to increase size.
