VIRGINIA INLAID WALNUT CANDLESTAND, circular top with line inlay, over a bird-cage support with key, baluster standard pedestal, raised on a tripodal base having three cabriole legs terminating in slipper feet, no iron "spider" to underside of pedestal. Original key and donut. Retains an old surface with warm color. Possibly Shenandoah Valley of Virginia. Early 19th century. 28" H, 21" D.
