VIRGINIA LADDERBACK PAINTED SPLIT-BOTTOM ROCKING CHAIR,
featuring three-slat back, generous shaped arm rests, woven-splint seat, robust double box stretcher with front stretcher being turned. Retains an old red-painted surface.
Second half 19th century.
42 1/2" HOA, 16 1/2" H seat, 18" D seat.
