VIRGINIA PAINTED YELLOW PINE PUNCHED-TIN-PANELLED FOOD / CLOSET SAFE, featuring hinged upper cabinet doors concealing two fixed shelves, full drawer at waist, and fielded-panel lower cabinet doors, retaining early green-painted surface, tins bearing fylfot design. Discovered in Nottoway Co., VA. Mid 19th century. 70" H, 42" W, 23 1/2" D.
Condition
Good overall condition with moderate to heavy wear. Losses to feet. Areas of touch-up to paint. Other possible repairs.
