WASHINGTON, DC STONEWARE VINEGAR ADVERTISING JUG, Bristol-slip decorated, approximately one-pint capacity, beehive form with applied strap handle. Printed stamps to front include "SEAL OF KENTUCKY / VINEGARS", "KENTUCKY / FRUIT GROWERS / ASSOCIATION" and "Wm. Deutermann. / CHOICE GROCERIES, MEATS ETC. / CORNER N. Capitol and K. St. N. W. / WASHINGTON, D.C." Late 19th/early 20th century. 6 3/4" HOA.
Catalogue Note: William Deuterman (1866-1902) is listed as a grocer in the 1900 census records. He sadly passed away at the age of 36, leaving a wife and two young children. 

Condition

Excellent condition having some minor wear to mouth and some dark brown scuff marks to side.
