WEST VIRGINIA STENCILED STONEWARE JARS, LOT OF TWO, salt-glazed, comprising an approximately one-quart capacity canner and an approximately one-gallon capacity wide-mouth jar, each having Albany-slip glazed interior. Stenciled cobalt "A.P. Donaghho / Parkersburg," and "W.V." or "W. Va." Circa 1875. 8 3/8" H, 8" D rim.
Provenance: Property from the estate of Clarence and Coralena Smith, Romney, WV.
Canner undamaged; jar having Y-shaped hairline extending from base.
