WESTERN PENNSYLVANIA STENCILED STONEWARE CANNERS, LOT OF THREE, salt-glazed, each approximately one-quart capacity, cylindrical form with grooved wax-seal rim, and Albany-slip glazed interior, one having double-incised shoulder rings. Stenciled cobalt pottery names include "HAMILTON / & / JONES, / Greensboro / Pa.", "JAS. HAMILTON / GREENSBORO. PA", and "J.E. ENEIX. / NEW GENEVA, / PA.", each having some additional stencil ornaments. Frank Hamilton and John Jones, Greensboro; James Hamilton, Greensboro; James Eneix, New Geneva, PA. Second half 19th century. 6" to 6 1/4" HOA.

Condition

Each having some imperfections including Hamilton & Jones example with some chips to interior grooved wax-seal rim and rim hairlines; James Hamilton example with moderate radial crack; Eneix example with restoration to rim.
