WESTERN PENNSYLVANIA STENCILED STONEWARE JAR, salt-glazed, designated two-gallon capacity, cylindrical form with beaded neck ring, Albany-slip glazed interior. Stenciled cobalt "R.T. WILLIAMS / NEW GENEVA. / PA", brushed cobalt stripe below rim, above base, wavy line to shoulder, and "2" below. 1882-1895. 11 3/4" H, 7 1/8" D rim.
