WILLIAM CROTHERS FILTER (NEW YORK, 1857-1915) LANDSCAPE PAINTING, watercolor on paper, titled and signed on reverse "A Sultry Summer" depicting a figure fishing with cows in the distance. Housed under glass in a modern frame. Late 19th/early 20th century. 11" x 15 1/2" sight, 20" x 24" OA.
Condition
Very good overall visual condition, minor to moderate areas of discoloration particularly to the right side and with possibly tear to upper right corner. Not examined outside of frame.
