WILLIAM STANLEY HASELTINE (AMERICAN, 1835-1900), ATTRIBUTED, LANDSCAPE, oil on canvas, retains a late 19th/early 20th century printed gallery label for "DOLL & RICHARDS / 140 NEWBERRY STREET / BOSTON, MASS" applied to stretcher verso, giving title as ON COMING [sic] STORM IN NEW ENGLAND", no signature located. Housed in a modern frame. Circa 1855. 14 3/4" x 21 1/2" OA.
Provenance: Deaccessioned by the Valentine Museum, Richmond, VA to benefit collections care, preservation and future acquisitions.
