AMERICAN APPLIQUE AND PIECED QUILTS, LOT OF THREE, hand- and machine-stitched, comprising an "Old Rare Tulip" applique quilt, having 16 on-point pattern blocks with straight-line quilting, alternating with whole solid white blocks with plume wreath and grid quilting, border to all four sides featuring applied scrolled motifs with chain quilting, applied lavender purple binding, three paneled plain backing; a "Grandmother's Flower Garden" pieced quilt, having 40 whole and eight partial pattern blocks in various solid and print fabrics, made of over 2,000 pieces, outline quilting, applied yellow binding with scalloped edge, four paneled yellow backing; and an embroidered quilt, featuring 30 on-point blocks of various embroidered flower motifs in blue thread with grid quilting, alternating with whole solid white blocks with floret quilting, triple border to all four sides with channeled quilting, applied blue binding, three paneled plain backing. First half/mid 20th century. "Tulip" 88" x 87"; "Flower Garden" 67" x 84"; and embroidered quilt 70" x 78".

"Tulip" quilt in fair to good overall condition, top with scattered holes and separation at seams of applique, some light to moderate fading, some toning and scattered stains/spotting, binding with wear and significant tears, backing with light to moderate toning including sizable area likely from storage, some stains/spotting; "Flower Garden" in good overall condition, top with some scattered small holes, light to moderate fading, binding with wear and tears, backing with a few stains; and embroidered quilt in good to very good overall condition with some scattered stains and spotting, top and binding with light to moderate fading to blue thread and fabric.
