AMERICAN / BRITISH SCHOOL (18TH / 19TH CENTURY) PORTRAIT OF A YOUNG LADY, oil on canvas, the subject in three-quarter length, wearing a yellow dress and holding a bouquet of flowers, with vines and trees in the background, no signature located. Housed in a period giltwood frame with four spread-wing eagles spaced evenly and a fleur-de-lis in each corner. Late 18th/early 19th century. 29" x 23 1/2" sight, 35 1/2" x 30" OA.

Very good visual condition, scattered small repairs and inpainting, frame with the loss of one eagle wing and a small loss at one lower corner.
