AMERICAN CARVED WOODEN STAG WITH MOUNT VERNON ASSOCIATION, with period inscription to the underside "carved in Baltimore / from an Orange Tree / which Grew in / General Washingtons / Green House at Mount / Vernon / planted by himself". Retains an old surface with warm color. 19th century. 2" HOA.
Very good overall condition, old break with associated loss to tail.
