CONTINENTAL SCHOOL GEORGE WASHINGTON MINIATURE PORTRAIT, watercolor on ivory, bust depiction facing left after Gilbert Stuart (1755-1828), wearing a blue jacket with red collar, inscribed "STUART" along right edge. Period veneered frame. Housed in a modern shadowbox frame. 19th/20th century. 3" x 2 1/2" sight, 9 1/4" x 8 1/2" OA.
