AMERICAN CHERRY TALL-CASE CLOCK, brass and wood eight-day movement, painted wooden dial featuring floral designs, case featuring applied molded cornice, plain waist door flanked by chamfered corners with lamb's tongue terminals, raised on small turned feet. Poplar secondary wood. Case retains an old surface with warm color. Probably Ohio or Pennsylvania. Second quarter 19th century. 92" H, 22 1/4" W, 12" D.
