AMERICAN / CONTINENTAL FREE-BLOWN CASE / CASE-GIN BOTTLE, very thick and heavy medium olive glass, quart size, early lopsided square "case gin" form with slight inward taper, short swirled neck with crudely applied "pig snout" mouth, deeply kicked-up base with jagged pontil scar having crosshatch or lattice textured surface, visible inside and outside the tubular blowpipe pontil scar. American or Dutch. 1770-1800. 9 3/4" H, 2 5/8" SQ base.

Condition

Undamaged with minor exterior scratching.
