AMERICAN DECORATED STONEWARE ARTICLES, LOT OF 12, comprising one butter dish with embossed images of indigenous people featuring a teepee to one side, two small yellowware bowls with banded designs, and eight spongeware examples including a covered canister, an 11 3/4" D mixing bowl, two advertising examples including one bowl with "IT PAYS TO MIX / WITH / OTTO H. SACHS / PHONE 1043 / SHEBOYGAN / WIS." to interior and a 4 3/8" H pitcher with "GOODPASTURE GRAIN / AND MILLING CO." Late 19th/first quarter 20th century. 5 1/4" HOA.
Condition
Five undamaged; remaining having mostly minor imperfections including rim chips and/or hairlines.
