AMERICAN E. & W. BENNETT ATTRIBUTED MARINE LIFE POTTERY PITCHER, rich blue glaze, depicting a variety of relief fish, shellfish, and a large crab below spout, with molded sea serpent handle. Unmarked. Probably Charles Coxon (1805-1868) for E & W Bennett Pottery, Baltimore, MD. 1850-1857. 9 7/8" HOA.

Radial crack extending along base with associated minor loss to underside, faint hairlines to serpent handle.
