ENGLISH CASTLEFORD-TYPE AMERICAN MARKET FELSPATHIC STONEWARE TEAPOT, featuring the Great Seal of the United States to one side and reverse with female classical Liberty figure holding a torch and an olive branch, cover with molded flower finial, having hand-painted blue accents. Unmarked. Possibly David Dunderdale & Co., Castleford Pottery, Castleford, England. Late 18th/first quarter 19th century. 5 1/2" HOA.

Having two flakes to scalloped rim, one minute, a minute flake to end of spout, and some minor scattered wear to blue accents on rim.
