AMERICAN FOLK ART FRAKTUR-TYPE DRAWING OF A BIRD, watercolor on laid paper, bright polychrome depiction of a distelfink on stylized flowering branch issuing from a heart, inked ledger notations verso. Unframed. Probably Ohio or Pennsylvania. Second quarter 19th century. 7" x 6 1/2" object.
Provenance: From the estate of Josephine Weidman, Cleveland, OH.
Good overall as-found condition with moderate overall toning and discoloration. Some separation at fold lines. Edge and corner wear with minor losses (one tiny piece detached but present).
