AMERICAN LEATHER- AND CANVAS-COVERED TRUNKS, LOT OF THREE, comprising two leather-covered examples with line patterned embossing, and a larger canvas-covered example with a brass plaque reading "E.A. Mowatt" (for Elizabeth Anne Mowatt 1825-1890, New York and Virginia) and "Boucher / N.Y." painted on the side. Together with a steamer trunk with blue-painted embossed metal floral panels. Four pieces total. Mid 19th century. Largest 24" HOA, 25 3/4" WOA, 18" DOA.
