TRAVELING DESK / CRATE AND FILING CABINET, LOT OF TWO, oak and pine, the filing cabinet with paperwork inside regarding Globe-Wernicke, the likely maker; the desk with many interior drawers, some labeled "BILLS" and "LETTERS / 1856", each drawer with a hand-cut screw for a knob, other than one brass one, door is hinged and opens up from the base, possibly a converted dove-tail crate. Mid 19th century and first half 20th century. Desk 12" HOA, 19 1/2" WOA, 13 1/2" DOA.
