AMERICAN PAINTED WINDSOR FOOT STOOL, featuring bamboo-turned legs with pronounced splay and plank seatboard. Retaining early, possibly original, painted surface and an early horse hair-stuffed under upholstery. Late 18th/early 19th century. 6" HOA, 11" WOA, 8" DOA.
Provenance: From the collection of Kathy and Dr. Joseph Arvay, Mendham, NJ.
Very good overall condition with minor wear. Expected wear and small losses associated with various upholstery campaigns.
