AMERICAN REVERSE-PAINTED GLASS AND METAL ELECTRIC TABLE LAMP, opal umbrella shade with a shaded blue ground and green and orange mottled foliate decoration, raised on a mixed-metal base with a bronze patina, modern socket mechanics, original heat cap. Maker unverified. First quarter 20th century. 20 1/2" HOA. Shade: 14" D.
Provenance: From the Eddie Tatum estate collection, Winston-Salem, NC.
Excellent condition overall with the base having some scattered wear; shade having some flaking/roughness to the bottom rim; top rim having heavier roughness and sliver chipping, with the chipping likely being as made.
