AMERICAN SCHOOL (19TH CENTURY) STILL-LIFE PAINTING, oil on canvas, an outstanding example, in the manner of Severin Roesen (c.1815-c.1871), featuring pineapple, cantaloupe, peaches, grapes, cherries, lemon, and a wine glass on a Sienna-type marble slab, no signature located. Housed in a period, possibly original, gilt frame with molded-composition ornament. Circa 1870. 17 1/4" x 25 1/4" sight, 26" x 34" OA.
