AMERICAN SCHOOL (LATE 19TH/EARLY 20TH CENTURY) FOLK ART FARM SCENE, oil on board, depicting a yellow-painted clapboard house situated by a stone bridge spanning a creek, large barn in the background, no signature located. Housed in a 19th-century grain-painted frame with original surface over gesso. Probably New England. Late 19th/early 20th century. 17" x 23" sight, 24" x 30" OA.
Provenance: Property from a Massachusetts estate collection.
Very good overall condition with minor abrasions and areas of discoloration, minor surface loss at center.
