ANTIQUE ENGLISH CONCENTRIC MILLEFIORI PAPERWEIGHT INKWELL, central white cog encircled by six exterior garlands of tubes and cogs in a variety of color combinations, faux "1848" cane in the fifth band, matching stopper, deep polished pontil mark. Maker unverified. First half 20th century. 6" HOA, 3 7/8" H base.
Provenance: From the Raymond Bally collection, Goshen, NY.
Excellent condition overall with the base having some scattered wear; stopper having a single surface nick, extension having some flaking and a discolored bruise.
