ANTIQUE FOLMER & SCHWING GRAFLEX SERIES B 5X7 CAMERA, black leather coated wooden hardware and gray-toned brass/metal trim/components, stationary Graflex back accepting 5" X 7" film currently with a sheet film back, camera serial number 140280, equipped with a Kodak Anastigmat f:4.5 8 1/2in. lens. Camera produced 1923-1942. 9" x 8 1/4" x 8 3/4" body OA (closed).
Condition
Camera in good visual condition with moderate wear to body and case especially with some splits and losses/detachments to leather, including the top handle missing; additionally with light to moderate corrosion/rust/oxidation to some metal components especially exterior and some areas where paint is lost; mechanical parts each appear to operate relatively smoothly including shutter/curtain, hood and bellows seem to operate, the mirrors produce a viewable and relatively crisp image with easy focusing; camera has not been tested for functionality (see Catalogue Guarantee).
