U.S. NAVY AIRCRAFT CAMERA MODEL K-20 IN CASE, black-painted metal body and components, accepting large roll film, serial number "USN-43-6297" marked on Folmer Graflex Corporation nameplate and a yellow sticker reading "O.H. / N.A.S. / NORFOLK" referring to the Naval Air Station in Norfolk Virginia, large and heavy body of unique design with various handles and knobs, etc. and hand-carved name "Chris" on interior, with front mounting for Paragon Anastigmat f:4.5 163mm lens, fitting in original black-painted Vulcanoid case marked to interior with "US" within an anchor and with exterior stencil reading "CAMERA - AIRCRAFT / TYPE K-20 / HANDLE WITH CARE", with a few remaining accoutrements including an extra red filter. Mid 20th century. 16" x 11" x 8 3/4" case (closed).
Very good visual condition with heavy wear and some losses of paint or leathers to interior and exterior of case, internal dust and grime visible within camera lens; camera not thoroughly inspected or tested but seems more or less intact and in excellent condition except the coil of the top finder is very corroded (see Catalogue Guarantee).
