ANTIQUE FOLMER & SCHWING TOP HANDLE SPEED GRAPHIC CAMERA, black leather coated wooden hardware and gray-toned metal trim/components, stationary Graphic back accepting 3 1/4" x 5 1/2" film currently with a hinged-flap focusing panel, camera serial number 90156, with intact top leather strap handle, equipped with a Kodak Anastigmat f:4.5 7 1/2in. lens, fit into its original Folmer & Schwing marked briefcase-shaped black leather case with purple felt lining, having a sheet film back with owner's name written on and a yellow glass Wollensak lens filter as well. Camera produced 1912-1925. 13" x 4" x 8 3/4" outer case.
Case excellent with moderate overall wear and cracking to leather surface but hinges/handles and walls mostly intact. Camera in excellent visual condition with less than average wear to body, mostly limited to light rubbing to metal surfaces but with moderate rust/corrosion visible and some mold/mildew especially on ground glass panel, and separation of the leather on exterior of focusing panel flap; camera's mechanical parts each appear to operate smoothly including shutter curtain even at lower speeds, bellows seems to operate very smoothly with no apparent pinholes; lens and lensboard look very good and standard rises/falls as it should; but camera has not been tested for functionality (see Catalogue Guarantee).
