ANTIQUE / VINTAGE STERLING SILVER AND OTHER METAL HATPINS, LOT OF 13, comprising a souvenir piece for the Alamo in San Antonio, TX with a sterling top, two with Indian head pennies featuring one having relief design with 1907 date and the other having multiple coins, a Shriners hatpin with enameled accents, a copper Grand Army of the Republic (GAR) hatpin, and eight with silver-plated or silver-toned tops including an Art Deco example. Alamo souvenir hatpin marked "STERLING", remainder unmarked. Late 19th/first half 20th century. 4 1/4" to 12" LOA.
Good to very good overall condition with some wear, surface scratches, and other imperfections including worn spots/losses to metal finishes, nicks, slight to moderate bending, and spots of light corrosion to pins; Art Deco hatpin with possible solder repair at terminal of top above knop; large round silver-toned hatpin with a hole at base of top near knop.
