ANTIQUE / VINTAGE UNITED STATES (U.S.) MILITARY AND OTHER BUTTON HATPINS, LOT OF 13, each button with applied pin, most with loop removed, including two U.S. Navy buttons, a Pennsylvania National Guard button with backstamp of "J.H. WILSON PHILADELPHIA", a Philadelphia Police button with backstamp of "N. SNELLENBURG & CO. PHILA", a "GOD HELPS THOSE WHO HELP THEMSELVES" button with backstamp of "U.S. INDIAN DEPARTMENT", a Canadian military button, and a British military button with backmark of "SMITH & WRIGHT LIMITED BIRMINGHAM". Together with a hatpin having a swastika top with red enameling. 14 pieces total. Fourth quarter 19th/first half 20th century. 5 1/4" to 9 5/8" LOA.
Good to very good overall condition with some wear, surface scratches, and other imperfections including worn spots/losses to metal finishes, slight to moderate bending, nicks, and spots/areas of light to moderate corrosion to pins; swastika hatpin with some losses to enamel.
