APSLEY PELLATT ATTRIBUTED SINUMBRA ORMOLU SULPHIDE ART GLASS OBELISK, tall brass Corinthian column with a monument base with central cut-glass body, being incrusted with a sulphide of a young Queen Victoria, opposite side featuring a sulphide of George IV, separated by enameled gold foil inserts of a blooming rose branch and the opposite having an ornate depiction of an old castle, weighted square base, topped with a sulphide medallion of George III held within a brass frame. England. Circa 1830. 27 7/8" HOA, 5 3/4" SQ base.

Nearly undamaged with the top finial having been reset into the standard and having the extension solder repaired; upper finial sits with a slight lean; some examples light surface wear.
