FEUILLET ATTRIBUTED PORCELAIN AND SIGNED DESPREZ FREDRICK GUILLAME SULPHIDE CABINET CUP AND SAUCER, cup having a gilt-decorated interior with a curling integral handle, exterior featuring statuesque griffins separating floral sprays and a central green mask and laurel motif, lower band of varying colored flowers and leaves, having a signed "DESPREZ" sulphide of Fredrick Guillame in the base, matching decorated saucer. France. Early 19th century. Cup: 4" H, 3 1/8" D rim. Saucer: 1 1/4" H, 5 1/2" D.
