ASSEMBLED ENGLISH AND AMERICAN STERLING SILVER MINIATURE COFFEE AND TEA SERVICE, LOT OF 15, comprising a footed tray by William B. Meyers Co. of Newark, NJ, a six-piece coffee and tea service by Barker Brothers Silver Ltd. of Birmingham with 1939 date marks consisting of a coffee pot, a teapot, a tea kettle, a kettle stand with burner, a creamer, and a waste bowl, and a set of four teacups and four saucers with unidentified "JLC" maker's mark of London having 1938 date marks. Each with a maker's mark and sterling fineness marks. Total weight: 4.440 ozt. Second quarter/mid 20th century. Tray 6 1/4" x 3 1/2" OA.
Provenance: From a Charlottesville, VA estate.
Good to very good overall condition with some wear and surface scratches, other minor to moderate imperfections including bending, nicks, and denting.
