ASSORTED AMERICAN EMBOSSED INK BOTTLES, LOT OF 11, all aqua except one colorless, various mostly cylindrical or four-sided forms each with embossed company names, bottles including two Hoffman's Inks with red liquid contents (larger with pinched pour-spout mouth, the smaller also paper labeled), two Caw's Ink one of which has paper label with pictorial crow, L.H. Thomas, two Paul's Safety Bottle & Ink Co. NY, and Underwood's Inks, each with tooled beaded or squared cork top mouths and smooth bases. Third and fourth quarter 19th century. 6 1/4" HOA.
Mostly very good condition, many undamaged; larger Caws with a wide shallow chip to mouth, Thomas, base-embossed Waterman, and others with only minor damage including occasional minute nicking or light bruising to lips or heels.
