HIGGINS INK BOTTLES, LOT OF NINE, mostly colorless glass, round, each embossed to base with variations of "HIGGINS / INKS / BROOKLYN, NY", seven with paper labels for ink contents/colors including Yellow with Middle Eastern city skyline picture, Green with a frog pictorial, Blue with an ocean and lighthouse pictorial, Scarlet with flamingo pictorial, and Higgins' American India Ink with eagle and globe trademark, every bottle with tooled mouths except two "DRAWING INK" base embossed bottles machine-made. Mostly late 19th/early 20th century. Various sizes.

Labeled bottles each undamaged except Violet with a large base flake and Scarlet with a minute nick at mouth; light nicking to mouth of light green non-labeled example; several paper labels with losses, discoloration, some tears but generally good condition.
