ASSORTED AMERICAN INK BOTTLES, LOT OF FIVE, aqua, comprising two eight-sided umbrella inkwells, a smaller 12-sided umbrella, a square double pen rest example, and a so-called "banana" with bulbous oblong panelled body and factory-ground mouth, each with tooled or inwardly rolled mouths, two smaller umbrellas with blowpipe pontil scars, other three smooth base. Third quarter 19th century. 2 1/2" HOA, 5 1/4" LOA.

Excellent condition overall, two smaller umbrellas with moderate sickness; square ink with two minute nicks to upper edge of lip and 12-sided umbrella with a small chip to mouth.
